About me

I’m a self-taught artist based in Sydney. I specialize in black ink artworks using fine lines and dot work. I started drawing in 2015 while living in Guatemala and working with several NGOs. I desperately needed a creative outlet to calm my mind amidst the chaos I was surrounded by. I began to draw mandalas and found I would slip into a meditative trance when I drew and hours flew by. Art quickly became my escape, it was my opportunity to disconnect from the stress and overwhelming emotions I was experiencing.

My artistic style has changed a lot, my work now focuses predominately on different spiritual concepts, the power of positive thinking and human connection to nature. My art is my visual interpretation of different lessons that inspire growth.

My inspiration mostly comes from nature and meditation. I love to find the beauty in my surroundings, in the way that nature grows, philosophical teachings, symmetry, sacred geometry and the galaxy. I love spending time in nature surrounded by beauty, I find my mind racing with ideas and creativity when I’m hiking, running or swimming outdoors.

Creating art and the artistic process of engaging with creativity brings me so much joy and contentment. Art has been incredibly humbling and I am constantly learning and working to improve my skills and creations.
